The show of cycling will once again take the streets of Rincón de la Victoria. This town will be the bonus sprint in the first stage of the 64th edition of Vuelta Ciclista a Andalucía Ruta del Sol.
This Wednesday 14th February 2018, all cycling lovers can enjoy this electric sport as it passes through Rincón de la Victoria. The municipality is part of the route of the first out of five stages that compose this sporting challenge, having also a bonus sprint.
The race is scheduled to cross through the municipality on Wednesday 14th February in the first stage, which will pass through from Mijas to Granada in a stretch of 197.6 kilometers. The pack of cyclists will enter the exit 246 B of La Cala del Moral around 13:03pm to cross along to Avenida de Málaga, del Mediterráneo, where the bonus sprint is planned to take place, to continue by Torre de Benagalbón towards Torre del Mar.
The 64th Ruta del Sol, which has been established this year as 2HC Hors Categorie at one step from World Tour level, will be distributed in 5 days as in past editions: a mid-mountain stage, a high mountain stage, a flat stage, a mixed stage that will combine a flat and half mountain route and, as an innovation, an individual time trial to finish the competition.
