Next Sunday 28th, from 10:00AM, the IX edition of the Half Marathon of Rincón de la Victoria will cross the streets of the east of Málaga in a more complete and dynamic route. A single round running over the main streets of Rincón de la Victoria, Cala del Moral and Torre de Benagalbón. This test will be one of the most spectacular race for runners and spectators.
In this new edition of the Half Marathon, loops from other years will be avoided. The start of the race will take place from the Tourist Office of Rincón de la Victoria, and its finish line at Plaza de la Constitución, the centre of the municipality. The race will arrive at the town of Torre de Benagalbón after climbing El Cantal, crossing the main streets of La Cala del Moral and running over the amazing coastline. The passage through the cliffs of El Cantal will be one of the most spectacular moments of the test.
The half marathon was presented today Wednesday 17th, at the City Hall of Rincón de la Victoria and the maximum time of the race will be 2 hours and 30 minutes, closing the finish line at 12:30PM. In addition, this sports event maintains its commitment to the environment by banning the throwing of liquid supplies (bottles or glasses) at any point along the route.
Among the participants, the attendance of the athlete Janine Lima is expected, the winner of the XXXIV Subida al Veleta recently, and the VIII Half Marathon of Rincón de la Victoria.
The value of the first prize shall be 150€, second prize of 100€ and the third one of 50€ (the three prizes are accompanied by a trophy), for all categories. The organization will provide runners with liquid and solid refreshment services during the race and at the finish line, as well as a cloakroom.
