On the next Sunday 15th of March, carnival lovers are in luck, the Sheriff and his Chirigota “Los Niños de la Petroleo” are coming straight from Cadiz to perform at the Rincón de la Victoria Carnival. It will be one of the many activities that are prepared for that day. From 12:00 in the morning you will be able to enjoy the Great Carnival Parade, where the best costume can obtain a gift. In addition, the Al-Andalus Square will hold Inflatable Castles, Group Games, Drag Queen Show, and even a Carnival Whistle and Balloon Workshop. All accompanied by the classic carnival cabbage soup, which will be distributed free of charge.
From 15:30 the performances begin, first the murga “Los de Huelin”, first prize of the COAC Malaga, and after them the Malaga group ” Ciudad del Paraíso”, which will give way to the aforementioned ” Los Niños de la Petroleo”.
Finally, there will be celebrated the burial of the Victorian Boquerón, a model of more than four meters long made by the local artist Antonio Gallero.
To warm-up engines, from today until March 15th, you can enjoy the exhibition of carnival costumes, “40 years of fantasy”.
