Yesterday, the programme of activities for the celebration of the Christmas holidays (from next Saturday the 28th of November to the 5th of January) was presented.
This year’s programme will be special and different due to the difficult situation caused by the “new normality”. Families will be able to enjoy drive-in cinema sessions, concerts and children’s and family shows, but these will be announced every week in order to adapt them to the timetables and restrictions that are in force at any given time.
Many activities have been prepared keeping children in mind, who are the main protagonists of these dates.
The programme of activities will begin on Saturday the 28th of November with the lighting of the Christmas lights at 18:15 in the Al-Ándalus Square. Previously, around 17:00 there will be a Christmas zambombá performed by the Malaga-based group Casa Pestiño. To form part of the audience it is necessary to make a reservation by email to cultura@rincondelavictoria.es.
As a novelty this year, the Christmas lights will arrive in the commercial area with the aim of encouraging purchases in local shops and establishments. In addition, the Christmas lights have been extended, reaching the Parque Victoria Urbanization for the first time. A total of fifty LED light arches have been installed. A special decoration has also been carried out in Plaza de la Constitución (Selfie arch and lantern adornment), Al Andalus Square, with hanging ornaments, figures of the Three Kings in La Casa Fuerte Bezmiliana, etc.
