Rincón de la Victoria will host the 4th 'Chikara' Karate Tournament, featuring 150 people from different towns all over Málaga, such as Algarrobo, Antequera, Málaga, Puerto de la Torre, Mijas and Rincón de la Victoria.

This sports event has been organized Rincón de la Victoria's Sports Council  y la Escuela Chikara Rincón de la Victoria, and will be hosted on Saturday October 25th in Municipal Pavillion 'Rubén Ruzafa' in Torre de Benagalbón, from 10:00 to 14:00.

This competition will gather around 30 categories in the katas and kumite modalities, que going from the youngest (4 years old) up to veterans, with levels scaling from white belts all the way up to black belts or dans. There will be three tatamis with half a docen of judges.

Finally, new for this edition, the new official tournament mascot will be presented. It will be a tiger named 'Chikarito', which will become the representative image of the evnet, as it has been announced by the school coordinator, Esther Urbano.
