August has been a month when Rincón de la Victoria celebrated a remarkable number of activities, events and festivals where fun, music, gastronomy, sports and leisure have merged into a range of alternatives for all audiences and tastes. This leisure offer will have its extension in the month of September in Rincón de la Victoria with the Traditional Contest of Verdiales or the great Fiesta del Boquerón Victoriano, among other events.

One of the main events is, certainly, the Traditional Contest of Verdiales held in Benagalbón next Saturday September 15th. Declared a Festival of Tourist Interest in Andalusia, this event can not be missed, whether or not you like the traditional fiesta del toque and cante por verdiales. Another must-see for this month of September in Rincón de la Victoria will be the great Fiesta del Boquerón Victoriano that will be celebrated on September 22nd and 23rd in this town. With competitions, live music and a lot of gastronomy, this event is declared a Festival of Provincial Tourist Interest in Málaga.
Similarly, the sport will also have a huge presence during this month of September in Rincón de la Victoria. Apart from the chess tournament on Saturday 1st or the numerous golf tournaments that will be hosted on Campo de Golf of Añoreta, the Saturday 8th should be marked in red in your calendar with the V Triathlon Edition in Rincón de la Victoria and the I Subida Mirador de Vallejo, a road cycling test.
On Saturday 8th, the traditional procession of the patron saint of Rincón de la Victoria will be celebrated right after the sport event. From 8:00PM, the Virgen de la Victoria will march through the streets of Rincón. The calendar would not be completed without the traditional festival in honor of San Miguel, patron of Torre de Benagalbón. This festival will be held on Saturday September 29th.
