Fairs and Festivals

The holiday calendar of La Cala del Moral is full of festivities which keep the seafaring spirit of the town. St. John’s night transforms the beach into a rug of campfires where locals and visitors jump their flames to keep the negative away, while the sardines scent impregnate the environment.
The maritime procession in honour of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, patron saint of the fishermen is specially emotional. Every July 16th, her image goes across the waters on board embellished vessels, among the sound of sirens and local fervour. The procession in honour of Our Lady of the Rosary, patron saint of the town, which gathers locals from all ages to show devotion and belonging.
