Rincón de la Victoria will be the location of the Campeonato de España Absoluto de Hockey Sala Masculino (Men’s Hockey National Championship) at the “Rubén Ruzafa” Pavilion of Torre de Benagalbón between Friday 2nd and Sunday 4th of February.

Eight teams, two of them from Málaga, will compete for the national title, which is also a qualifier for the European Championship. It will be an important event for the municipality of Málaga that will live intensely these three days of hockey. It is the first time in 65 years that the National Championship is held in Andalusia.

The teams are: the current Spanish champion, Complutense de Madrid; SPV and Club de Campo, also from Madrid; FC Barcelona, ​​Codema de Asturias, CH Albor de Ourense, Benalmádena, and CD Málaga91.

The National Championship is organized by the City Council of Rincón de la Victoria in collaboration with the Diputación de Málaga, the Andalusian and Spanish hockey federations, and Málaga 91 and Hockey La Candelaria sport clubs.

The tournament will be broadcasted in streaming (18 matches), and it will be available in countries where there is a huge passion for this sport such as Germany, Argentina, Canada or the United States.

Moreover, there will be a play area that will be settled in the vicinity of the pavilion so the sport weekend will be fun and entertaining.
