The beaches of the municipality of Rincón de la Victoria have been recognized one more year with the Flag Q that grants the Institute for the Spanish Tourist Quality (ICTE).
This is the fifth consecutive year that the beaches of Rincón de la Victoria, La Cala del Moral and Torre de Benagalbón have been awarded this certification, which values the management and supply of services, the cleanliness of public spaces, as well as optimum bathing conditions and the excellent services provided to the users.
Among other parameters for its concession, the management of the beaches, the quality policy, good environmental practices and water and sand quality analyses have been scored.
This recognition puts the beaches of our coastline in a position of optimum quality and safety for the enjoyment and peace of mind of our neighbours and visitors.
There are numerous improvements on the beaches of Rincón de la Victoria, including the installation of 25 wooden changing rooms and six new toilet modules distributed along the coastline, improvements to the accessibility points with the extension of the concrete walkways and the installation of a new adapted toilet in Torre de Benagalbón, as well as adapted showers on the beach of La Cala del Moral, with tue objective of installing the same kind in the rest of the beaches on the coast.
In addition, this year the Rincón coast has obtained the Safe Tourism Certified seal for the management of protection measures and self-protection of users and workers on the beaches, as a guarantee and prevention against health risks by the COVID-19. There have been introduced measures and protocols such as disinfection of beach equipment, staff training in the prevention of virus infection, use of EPIS, proper management of the capacity and maintenance of safety distances on the beaches, etc.
