The Mayor of Rincon de la Victoria, Francisco Salado (PP), accompanied by the Councillor for Tourism, Antonio José Martín (PP), presented today, at one of the most important tourism fairs in the world, the new promotional video of the municipality which shows “the enormous and spectacular historical heritage that our city has and the options to enjoy for anyone who wishes to visit us”, explained the councillor at a press conference at the Costa del Sol Tourism stand in the Andalusia Pavilion of IFEMA.
Rincon de la Victoria has spread its tourism potential at FITUR, with sport, gastronomy and historical heritage, as well as unique sites such as the Tesoro Cave and its surroundings, good communications and unbeatable temperatures, making the municipality a unique and outstanding destination.
“Rincon de la Victoria is the place where you can enjoy whatever you want, ‘Full of Life’, with almost eight kilometres of coastline with ecological beaches and an area of cliffs, a perfect orography for any type of sport: swimming, running, cycling. In addition to first class sports facilities, with a range of trails to explore landscapes, sea and mountains,” said the mayor to the media, prior to the launch of the promotional video.
An offer, added Salado, that “will soon be extended with the opening to visitors of the Victori Cave, which will take us back 30,000 years, and a Roman Villa that will also soon be available to visitors. We will be able to travel back to the Rome of the 2nd century and enjoy one of the best preserved mosaics in Andalusia.
The Mayor also assured that “we face the challenge of maintaining our national tourist, when the rest of the destinations will want to attract them. Last summer, in the middle of the pandemic, we registered a 70% occupancy rate in the hotels, when the rest were at 20 and 30”.
The councillor for Tourism has insisted “on our slogan ‘Rincon de la Victoria: Full of Life’ we invite the visitor to enjoy the countless possibilities offered by the municipality such as culture, sports, sea and land, gastronomy, etc., and which aims to make the visitor know us as a place where everything is possible. Hence the promotional video we are launching this year”.
At this year’s FITUR visitors will be able to access all the tourist information about Rincon de la Victoria through brochures, promotional videos and other content that can be viewed via QR codes. Promotional campaigns have also been carried out in the national media, display advertisements and RRSS.

Rincon de la Victoria is present these days at FITUR promoting the municipality, putting anchovies back at the centre of national gastronomy with a gala where the third recipe book was presented and the `Boquerón de Plata’ was awarded to Salvador Calvo, and presenting top level golf tournaments at Anoreta Resort with the ALPS Championship of Andalusia 2021.
