The Department of Tourism today presented the prizes to the winners of the ‘Tourism in Rincon’ Photography Competition, which this year reaches its third edition in this format. The Councillor for Tourism, Antonio José Martín (PP) was in charge of announcing the winners and presenting the prizes to Manuel Rueda, Miguel Corpas, José María Ruiz, Christian Martín, Daniel Vertedor and Alejandro José Gómez in the Plenary Hall of the Town Hall of Rincon de la Victoria.

Up to 103 photographs of the four nuclei of the municipality and with a variety of themes were submitted to the competition. The chosen images will be the protagonists of the new tourist calendar of Rincon de la Victoria 2022, which will be taken to FITUR.

“It has been difficult to choose between the works presented, because every year there is more quality”, explained the councillor who congratulated the winners. “There were more than 100 images with snapshots of spectacular corners and spaces in our city,” Martín pointed out.

In this sense, the mayor of Rincon de la Victoria, Francisco Salado, highlighted the involvement of the participants to show all that our city has to offer. “We have to continue to highlight the great amount of spaces that the municipality has to offer. It is difficult to collect in 12 images all the beautiful things we have here, but every year the tourist calendar is a gift that everyone wants to have”.

The images, as well as starring in the calendar, will be used to promote the town in different campaigns throughout the year 2022.

The winners received their prize pack from the councillor, which includes, among other gifts, a dinner for two at a restaurant in the town and two tickets for La Ruta del Misterio in the Cueva del Tesoro.
