It is the countdown to the VIII Popular Race of San Silvestre and the IX Kilómetro Inclusivo. Both tests has the main objective of prasing solidarity and fair play. In addition, the benefits of the event will be intended for the Asociación de Familias de Niñ@s con Diversidad Funcional (Association of Families of Children with Functional Diversity).
Both sport events have the support of different clubs in the municipality. The starting point will be located on the seafront, next to the Tourist Office. Kilómetro Inclusivo race, with 700 meters long, will be the first of the races and people of all ages regardless of their physical form will participate.
Afterwards, San Silvestre Popular Race will start. Its route will reach La Sala Mare Nostrum of La Cala del Moral to return to the starting point; the race will be 5 kilometers long.
A charanga (music band) will amuse the event that aims to be a party for the whole family, where many gifts will be raffled. There will be trophies for the first three runners of each category and an amazing prize for the best costume, both individual and collective. It is Christmas so, therefore, the small ones of the race will have a medal.
Those interested in participating may register and purchase the number for 3 € on the same day of the test from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Children under 3 years and people with disabilities, along with their assistants, will receive their numbers for free.
Giggles, fun, solidarity and sport – there is no better plan to say goodbye to the year. Cheer up and come in dressed up!
