Rincón de la Victoria will celebrate next Saturday 9th August the XII Swimming Crossing Brazadas Solidarias, a sporting and solidarity event that is expected to bring together half a thousand swimmers from different parts of the country. The charity event supports the education of vulnerable children in Nepal through the Vicente Ferrer Foundation.

XII Travesía Brazadas Solidarias

The event, organised by the Brazadas Solidarias association together with the Vicente Ferrer Foundation and the Rincón de la Victoria Town Hall, will have three distances: 300 metres (children's category), 800 metres, and 2,500 metres, the latter included in the Andalusian open water circuit of the Andalusian Swimming Federation (FAN), which will start at 12:00 noon.

The Brazadas Solidarias association, linked to the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, organises sporting events with a marked social vocation, allocating the funds raised to cooperation projects focused on children and women in situations of exclusion in India and Nepal.
