Rincón de la Victoria will host the XI National Flamenco Dance Competition ‘Conchitina Zamora’ in freestyle. The event will be held on Saturday 14 June from 10:00 am, at the ‘Rubén Ruzafa’ Municipal Covered Pavilion in Torre de Benagalbón.

The day includes the disciplines of flamenco, classical, stylised and folklore, and has cash prizes worth 6,000 euros, as well as medals, diplomas and T-shirts.

There will also be a special prize for the best dancer with a course of instruction with one of the best national flamenco dance teachers, and a prize for the best costume.

The jury for these flamenco and modern dance competitions will be made up of teachers from the Spanish classical dance conservatory with a long professional career, and outstanding national acrobatics technicians, professional dancers in urban dance, contemporary dance and rhythmic gymnastics.
