Rincón de la Victoria's Town Hall has presented today a new edition of "Desafío de Guerreros" ("Warriors Challenge"), one of the most importante obstacle course races both in Spain and Latin America. This event will take place on October 19th in the municipality.

This is a sports event which gathers more than 100.000 runners since 2016, and one which takes place in important national cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Vizcaya and, Rincón de la Victoria, making our town a key place for the national sports calendar.

Whatsmore, this is a punctuable event for the OCR World Championship, making it an even fiercer competition.

Desafío Guerreros 2025 Categories

Desafío de Guerreros offers two track modalities: a 6 kilometre one, as well as a 10 kilometre one, both with more than 25 obstacles which will test their strength, stamina, agility and self-improvement spirit. This race will be available for runners older than 15, with no other age limit. There will also be different difficulty and category levels.

In relation to the OCR, in the elite category, the first 20 men and women will be able to qualify for the Age Group, while the first 5, will be able to do so for the Pro category. In the 10K modality, the first 10 on each category will qualify for the Age Group.

Among the most notable obstacles for this race we may find: Goliat 3.0: an 8 metre-long slope, bigger and more challenging than ever; The Jungle: a triple trial which will test skill, strenght and bravery, going through a vertical wall, vines and mud fall; Escape from Alcatraz, based on the famous prison; Rope climb: A 6 metre-climb which will end over a mud trench; and HULK: an extreme strength obstacle in which you will drag 10kg-trunks or tyres for more than 10 metres.
