Rincón de la Victoria will host on August 30th the 9th Chess Tournament,  belonging to the 31st Málaga Council's Regional Chess Circuit, an exciting event happening every summer throughout the region.

This tournament will take place in Plaza Al-Ándalus from 19:00, and it will gather up to 170 players in an tournament which is available for people of all ages and levels. The competition has been organised by Málaga's Council, Rincón de la Victoria's City Council, the Andalusian Chess Association (FADA) y and Victoria Chess Club (Club Ajedrez Victoria).

This tournament will award points for ELO FADA, and it will be structured in a Swiss format consisting of seven rounds, paced at eight minutes + three more seconds for each play.

Trophies will be awarded to the champion, second and third place in the top level category, as well as U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16, U-18, supra 50-65, as well as special prizes for local players.
