Benagalbón celebrates the XLII Cultural Week from the 23rd of April to the 2nd of May with twenty face-to-face or online activities
The Plaza de las Flores will host storytelling, theatre and a concert by the Rincon de la Victoria Music Band.
Benagalbon will celebrate the XLII Cultural Week from the 23rd of April to the 2nd of May with a cultural programme consisting of around twenty activities which will be held both in the open air and online.
During the week, from the 23rd of April to the 2nd of May, there will be musical activities such as the XXXVII Concert of young performers (online), the performance of the Music Band in the Plaza de las Flores, storytelling, theatre with `Mayores de 25…´ family comedy by Teatro Helarte, `La piratesa de María Teresa en la Isla de Japatú’ by Teatro La Carpa, and exhibitions with works from the III Certamen de Fotografía `Benagalbon, tu Mirada’ in the Hall of the Cultural Centre Teleclub with a total of 42 photographs of Benagalbon and 58 of Málaga and the province. The Paco Alonso Hall will exhibit the winning works of the ‘Paco Alonso 1993-2019’ Young Outdoor Art Painting Competition, and ‘Harlequins’ by Joaquín Lobato in the Benagalbon Library.
This year the VII Short Film Contest of Benagalbón `Cortobén’ will be held, which is reborn in online format maintaining the structure of the event with semifinals, final gala and online voting in which 14 films will compete, half of which are from the Axarquia, of the more than fifty that have been submitted to the competition.
