The photographic exhibition “Mise en Abyme” by Alba Blanco will be the new cultural offer of Casa Fuerte Bezmiliana for the upcoming weeks. From this Friday 20th April at 8:30 p.m, until Friday 1st June 2018, the exhibition of this artist from Madrid will be open to the public during the regular opening hours of the hall.
The exhibition “Mise en Abyme” is the debut of this young artist from Madrid. Therein, the visitor can enjoy a series of images that “reflect the sensitivity of a photographer who invites the public to think and ponder through her work”. The exhibit is classified in four stages: ‘Códigos, Puesta en escena, Bordados and El brazo de mi padre. Imagen y reverso’.
Despite her youth, Blanco has been recognized with the Andalusian Short Film award (2004), Premio en Arte at the UMA 2005 and the Andalusian Plastic Arts award ‘Desecaja 2009’. Also, she has exhibited at the Carmen Thyssen Museum in Málaga, at MAD Antequera, La Térmica and at MUPAM.
The exposition can be visited free of charge from Friday 20th April until 1st June, during the visiting hours from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:30 to 13:30 and from 17:00 to 20:00. Also, Sunday morning from 10:30 to 13:30.
The inaugural act will be held this Friday 20th April from 20:30 at Casa Bezmiliana.
